Stand up for the champions as Yaba College of Technology wins the 18th edition of the Nigeria Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA that was held
at the Federal Polytechnic, Bida. The second and third runners up are
Polytechnic Ibadan and Abia State
Polytechnic respectively.
Yaba College of Technology came the overall winner of the 18th Nigeria Polytechnic Games (NIPOGA) after the college won 34 medals, made up of 17 gold, eight silver and nine bronze.
The second position went to The Polytechnic Ibadan, with 14 gold, five silver and 11 bronze medals. Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, took the 3rd position with 11 gold, four silver and seven bronze medals.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that out of the 42 polytechnics that took part, 29 got medals while 13 did not secure any medal.
